• Yessir, I'm pretty sure you would have to take out your hard drive but it would make the system that much smoother.

• Yes this will work with your ASUS VivoBook F510UA. Please take note you will have to remove the bottom cover of the laptop which requires removal of all screws (10 visible and 2 hidden under the rear pads ) and then the back cover comes right off. Keep note of where the screws go because some are different lengths. Once open you will have a spot for a 2.5" drive and a M.2 interface (2280).

• Yes, you need a 7mm SSD and this is 7mm, not 9mm like some older, thicker drives.
