• As long as your current laptop's internal hard drive is SATA (which I believe it is), this or any other SATA 2.5" SSD drive will work.

• It will work in any laptop that has 2.5 inch hard drive space. That is the size of a standard laptop hard drive. If the laptop has an m.2 drive it will not, m.2 looks similar to a stick of ram so if your laptop has a “regular” hard drive you are good to go. Make sure you back up your files and and have a way to reinstall all your programs before you swap out your hard drive!
