No it does not. I recommend a clean install of Windows (you can use the Windows Media Creation tool for either Windows 10 or 11), especially if you haven't done a clean install in a long time. Well worth the effort. Windows has gotten very good about automatically finding and installing drivers.

Grab a copy of Macrium Reflect, select clone. The trick is to drag n drop the partitions before the windows partition to the destination, next drag n drop the Windows partition and shrink it, next drag n drop the remaining partitions and float them right, last click on the windows partition and select Fill remaining space. now click Finish. This ensures the non-windows partitions are the exact size as those on the source. some auto cloning software gets this wrong causing the news. ssd drive to fail to boot If you decide to clean install instead, create a bootable usb windows installer. During install choose I don’t have a license key. After installation windows will re-activate using a digital license.

And you're system most likely using Windows 10 or WIndows 11? If so I highly recommend buying a bigger ssd drive. If not that is okay. Simply get get a 8gig flash drive. Go to Microsoft website download media creation tool. That tool will download the Windows 10 or 11 and will create a bootable flash drive with os installation files. Boot it up install to new drive. This a laptop? They sell enclosure for old drive so you can connect old hard drive to it or connect that old drive to ur motherboard. Fresh installation will give you best performance. From there install you're drivers and software. Then drag you're files that is needed.
