Only USB 2.0? No USB 3.0 null

I saw two different packagings. One said USB 2, the other said USB 3. I bought the USB 3 even though I only have USB 2. It works fine.

This particular version is USB 2 only. May be the next iteration will be USB 3. If you really want a USB 3 drive, Sandisk just released couple of USB 3 / Lightening drives.
