Your PC is less "older" than you might think. It only comes with a 300W power supply, which is pretty routine for the level of hardware that comes in it. It will handle the card just fine, but if you find you are getting more frequent spin-up of the cooling fan to handle heating, you could jump to a 400W PSU very cheaply, (between $30 and $40) and always have more power than you need. I have had to replace any number of power supplies over the years, and these days can't seem to find one on a shelf locally offering less than 450 Watts, and carrying less than twice as many hardware connections as I can actually use. I replaced one a couple of weeks ago in an HP machine the same vintage as yours, and had to carefully bundle all the extra cables to keep them out of the way of the fan on this same card you're asking about.
