I don't know the power consumption of your machine. I installed this card in a Lenovo M58p with a 300Watt power supply and it is running just fine. It is SLIGHTLY noisy when all is quiet, but, when our Klipsch sound system is cranked up for the movie we are watching it is not noticed at all. We use our unit for streaming movies via KODI and it works really well. Its been installed for 3 months now and no problems. I just bought another M58p and another GT710 to go into it. KODI will be loaded into it and we're gonna sell it and try to make a few$$$. If you are concerned about the power supply... get a bigger one. Power supplies are USUALLY one of the least expensive of the major computer components.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, when I purchased unit, I was only looking for something that could reliably stream 4K video and not consume much power. I am running a no frills P3-16GB system with 300W power supply and have absolutely no temperature or stability issues.
