That really depends on what else you have in your system. Personally I'd not use anything smaller than a 600W power supply in any of my builds. You need to find out what else your system requires before you can accurately decide what size power supply you need. To directly answer your question though, your GTX 970 will draw about 170-201W of power according to the EVGA site (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3975-KR).
