It depends on your cpu. Lets just say you have at least a dual core with hyperthreading or above the graphics card will help you go up to where you want it to go like 1080p high settings. If you were to put it on an older cpu you most likely experience bottlenecking and your games will play worse. To stream you need a good cpu not a graphics card.
