Check and see if it can your computer has an open PCIe slot. I know some Dell computers tend to be small form factor computers, and cant always take a full-size card. If this is the case, you may have to look for a low profile version of the card. Newer cards also tend to have a lower power requirement, your power supply should be sufficient.
