• It will definitely work, as long as your case can accommodate the size of the card. I am currently using this card with an AMD fx 8320 system and it works well. Be advised however that the weaker the processor, the higher likelihood of the CPU bottlenecking the GPU and therefore you might be paying more money for performance you might not be able to utilize to the fullest extent.

• Graphic cards are CPU independent. It should not matter what brand or speed of your CPU you have. As long as you have the proper slot to put it into.
