what's the power supply needed? null

Currently running an EVGA 500w and its more than enough. I'd say as a minimum wattage don't go below 350w.

PCI-e 8 pin connector with more than 250W

Depends on your other hardware, but I would say even as little as a 400w PSU should be fine. Nvidia cards have very mild TDPs.

I'm just using a 500W Corsair Bronze certified power supply and it's working great.
