Q: QuestionIs this RAM compatible with DDR3L (low voltage) I have a dell machine and the last stick was high voltage 1.5 and the machine will not recognize it. It requires low voltage 1.3volts. And is 1600 for speed the same as 1.6Ghz just expressed differently?

• A:Answer You need to find the motherboard specs and what is supported. If it is calling for DDR3 you should be OK, but not necessarily. Some older MB's do support 16GB. Call the Geek Squad.

• A:Answer I purchased two packages of this product (2 x 8), (2 x 8) for A total of 32 GB. Unfortunately something happened previously to my motherboard which only recognizes two of the four dimm slots of RAM. After many attempts to try to get my motherboard to recognize the other two dimms, I simply decided that I would run my PC on 16 GB. I had no issue returning the one opened package to my local Best Buy store. I always keep the packages on new products. This particular product is packaged in that hard plastic that you have to cut open. I put the new sticks back in the package and used shipping tape to keep the package together. Again, Best Buy did not give me any issue whatsoever returning the opened RAM. I hope this helps :-).
