According to Crucial, your laptop can go up to 32GB. Might be true. It also says that DDR4 PC4-19200 (2400 MHz) will work, as well as DDR4-2666 and DDR4-3200. I used this exact product in a Dell All-In-One without any issues and even mixed it with a different RAM stick without issues. If you can't start up with this DIMM, I would try going back to your old DIMM and seeing if it boots. If it does, you might have gotten a bad DIMM and you should ask for a replacement. If the replacement doesn't work, I would return and look at getting Crucial RAM instead, as it's more reliable in my experience. Go to Crucial's website to see all compatible DIMMs
