QuestionCan I use 2 sticks of ram 16gb pc4 17000 in an HP Omen 30L that supports pc4 21400??? This will be a gb upgrade from 8gb to 16gb. I know the 17000 is a bit slower but I was hoping the gb increase would help make a difference. Any info is appreciated!

- Answer Search up Crucial Memory.com and go to their site. You can either search by your computer model number or run a software tool to determine what type of memory you have. If you have a fairly new computer then it is likely that, yes this will fit, but we can't be sure. If you find out that your computer supports DDR4 RAM then you're good. I would order two stick as well to have a total of 16 GB

- Answer Not sure about a Chromebook. Go to Crucial.com and find out about compatibility. It is a good place to start price comparision and compatibility. Youtube is also a good goto site for the mechanics and hints.
