It depends on the quality of your photos, but it is a good amount of photos from say your standard camera or phone its about 10,000.

I would guess that you could put around 1000 good quality photos on it, but if you use photoshop you would want something bigger for raw photos.

Since it only has 15.6gb usable, If your camera produces 4mb photos then it will hold 3,900 photos. If your camera produces 10mb photos then it will only hold 1,560 photos inside its holdy-fold. Make sure you open the Terry Flap all the way before sticking it in! Very important They never tell you that in school

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should work on your HP provided it has a USB port. If it's a USB 2 port (not blue in color or not marked SS) then it'll work, just slower. As for how many pictures, that depends on the resolution of your photos but on average, many thousands of photos would fit. I would suggest getting 2 and keep duplicates if this will be your only copy of the photos since usb drives do die without warning (all brands).
