- Answer Scalpers and streamers. There are exponentially more streamers selling packs than covid times. So a mixture of new sets appeal, scalpers making a quick dime, and streamers without distributors that have to buy at market and markup live stream openings, have made it where we can’t enjoy the hobby for msrp like it’s designed to be enjoyed.

- Answer I highly doubt there will be any besides what the bots get on pre order, unless Best Buy has put a system in place like the pokemon center has now. Along with a limit on purchases,.... nobody should be able to buy 20 booster boxes from a retail store. If they want to make money, they can pay the money and get a business license and get all the product they want,.... but that takes actual work and not just scalping every single product they can get their hands on in a store. Which is actually taking away from a ton of kids getting to enjoy the hobby, all because of child adults with no skills at all.

QuestionWhat is the purpose of Best Buy Drops if the system doesn't have a way to combat bots or at least mitigate them somehow? It's frustrating for me and many other customers when we wait in line for something just to find out that they are sold out.

- Answer These don’t go on sale in store till next week there was an etb in store drop today .. and the etb online drop was last Friday so this will probably be in store next Friday the website crashed for a everyone I have talked to yet somehow they sold out everything even though no one could get online even if sitting there refreshing from the second the drop started .

- Answer Sale started online today at 11am eastern tim zone but it seems like no one could load the page at drop time and suddenly once it loaded everything was gone but when I talked to Best Buy customer service they said this …see pics telling me that they aren’t on sale today haha

- Answer Because Best Buy would rather you wait online on the drop day only to never load the product page then after 10 minutes tell you that they are not being dropped till tomorrow and to come back . I said but the drop is happening right now and the website is stuck refreshing?? oh and when I couldn’t refresh the page I started a chat with an agent and he told me that the drop wasn’t today but tomorrow ….. I said but today is Friday may 30th then I was told it wasnt being dropped yet because of “high demand” which is almost as ridiculous as telling me the drop is tomorrow when I had been waiting on the site for drop to start all morning . So happy I’m a Best Buy total member and get that great customer service

- Answer Etb drop was last Friday and went in stores today . Booster box was dropped online today so prob will be in stores next Friday … no I have talked to could even get the page to refresh on the exact second the drop started so funny they sold out I wonder who got an order in and they usually do 1 per person online limit . Ironically if you wanted to pay double you could have pre ordered everything from this set weeks ago from what appear to be middle men with the amount of stock they have . Good luck

- Answer That is a fantastic question and and they don’t seem to care more about members than non-members . I was online almost an hour before today’s drop yet when I tried to refresh at the minute of the drop it stayed in loading screen for over 10 minutes then just kicked me off . Good luck I haven’t received any feedback from any of my complaints hope you have more luck .
