“Why is it that your bot counter-measures are so bad that the product sells out instantly as it goes live?”

the answer is that they dont really care to implement security for bots, they actually feed the bots…for example for the last 2 days they have been releasing mega evolution etb’s every 15 minutes but they are small restocks that are instantly cleared out by bots. instead of releasing everything at once to give everyone a chance. bottom line they dont care if they are making money.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are no counter measures for bots. The company is looking at PnL margins only. Coming from someone who worked for this company for 3 years, the even ban their employees from buying any cards in person for 48 hours (just send their friends and family instead LOL) and proceed to let bots clear them out because Pokemon TCG cards have become an easy buffer on the PnL sheet. It’s trickled down to the shift leads even pushing PnL margins by pushing to sell “baskets of accessories” with all the big ticket items. (TVs, computers, appliances, etc). Company is so narrow sighted on PnL they don’t give a hoot how their products sells, as long as it sells. Sorry to disappoint, just buy a bot like the rest of us or sit at their stores on days they receive brown goods trucks if you want any product at MSRP.

Why would they when their inventory will sell out instantly instead of being fair? They don’t care about resellers, as long as they make profit margins for the quarter.
