“Does this watch have a standard HR reader on the wrist? If you want more accuracy you get the strap? I really like the HR zone tracking feature but now I'm concerned I won't get that benefit unless I order the additional strap. Please clarify.”

• You will need the strap they offer one with wrist monitor a360 my wife loves that I don't mind the strap and prefer the 400

• The M400 requires the user to wear a chest strap for it to record heart rate. There is no optical sensor on the watch that would capture that data. - Mike@PolarUSA
