• Do not use rechargeable batteries due to overheating and explosion risks. It takes 6 AA batteries.

• Hello, The Trac Tact 1000 lumen flashlight is NOT rechargeable. It needs alkaline batteries. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Stacy Damm
