• Hi Mike, the Polk S1 Sigma accepts an optical audio signal from your television. It does not have an HDMI input like competing products but Polk makes up for it in audio quality where it excels based on the comparisons with my ears. It does have Bluetooth audio (great for your iPhone) but I’d not recommend it for television bc of the inherent delay which might cause audio / video sync issues.

• We use the optical input. Has a great sound. Only downside has been not being compatible with Direct Tv remote syncing.
