• There should be a button to press on your soundbar and also on your remote.that came with it.

• have you tried to place the subwoofer closer to the sound bar - you can still place the woofer behind something - but have it closer - remember the subwoofer produces the bass - so it can be anywhere - under or behind something - where you have it now might be slightly blocking the signal ------ good luck ----- I have no problem at all - my bar and the woofer might be about 4 foot apart
