Elizabeth, I saw your post as I was posting a review. I don't know if this has been answered already, but some aftermarket remotes should work. I bought a GE Universal Remote that noted on the card it was sold on that the remote was compatible with sound bars. You may want to give that a try.... Hope that helps.
