“I just got this speaker system & also a new 55" smart TV. I am clueless about this stuff. Haven't attempted to hook it all up yet but have a question. I do not have wifi in my house. Does the system have it's own wifi & don't need anything else?”

Speaker and subwoofer are connected wirelessly, but they have a different technology than WiFi and will work together fine out of the box regardless of your home network set-up.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound bar does not need wifi, just one optical connection from the TV to the sound bar speaker is all you will need, the wireless sub connects to the soundbar via bluetooth signal. Mine connected automatically out of the box.
