“I was going to go with the JBL 9.1 which is only a $100 more & it does sound but I don't like charging speakers. Are the speakers wireless or do they have wires behind them? Do they need to be charged? Is this Dolby Atmos? What is the total watts?”

Rear speakers are bluetooth but they have power cords. (No charging) was the same reason i didnt buy the JBLs. This Polk model is a good sounding system.

They do not need to be charged as they require an outlet. Power or watts can be miss leading as each MagniFi Max AX soundbar driver is provided its own amplifier. The individual amplifiers are equipped with the proper amount of power for each driver. If possible, it may be best to demo each soundbar before purchasing. The MagniFi Max AX SR soundbar is 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos.
