QuestionAre the included rear speakers wireless? And do they have standard screw holes on the bottom for attaching them to a floor speaker stand? Thank you!

- Answer The speakers are wireless in the fact they have no cable that runs to the soundbar however they each have a power cable that must be plugged in to a wall outlet. There are no mounting holes on the bottom of the speakers but there is one slotted hole on the back plate of the speakers to mount them with.

QuestionI bought the Magnfi max AX SR and i am not 100% happy with it. The rear speakers are not very load. i have tried to turn them up and they do not get any loader, Is it me or are the rear speakers bad?

- Answer I tested them with Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End, and the rear speaker were barely audible. (2007) I then tested the system with Pirate of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), which has scenes with Dolby Atmos, and the rear speakers sounded great. Haven't had the chance to do other testing to see if its because of Atmos or because of the age of the films. But they are capable of good sound, its just what you are playing.

- Answer Surround control for the Polk Audio MagniFi Max AX SR Soundbar: Use the surround controls on the remote to easily adjust the volume on your connected surround speakers. Press the SURR button, then + for higher volume or – for lower volume. If one surround speaker is too loud or the other is too quiet, you can use the remote to adjust the relative balance between the two speakers. To adjust the volume balance of the surround speakers: Press and hold the SURR button on the remote for 2 seconds, then press the + or – to change the relative volume between the two speakers.

QuestionI tried 4 different sites all selling this product and all slightly differ on the specs. What isn’t clear is which measurement is the H and W! BestBuy, Polk, B&H, Target all vary or it’s not clear which is which . I need to know the height ! Thx.

- Answer I have the system now so here are the measurements as I measure them in my house as exact as possible. Subwoofer Height 15-11/16" Depth 16-1/16" Width 11-7/8" Soundbar Height 2-13/16" Depth 4-1/2" Width 45" Rears Height 4-9/16" Depth about 4-1/4" Width 7-7/8" The one thing that differs is about a 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch but this is extremly close if not exact. Hope this helps.

QuestionCan I buy compatible individual speakers to place in other rooms?

- Answer Hi Wittdogg, The MagniFi Max AX does now allow for adding speakers to place in other rooms. I suggest having a look at Denon's 550 Soundbar, which is able to do as you wish, courtesy of it's flexible HEOS technology and it's ability to work with Denon's other wireless Home speakers, and even a wireless sub-woofer.

QuestionI was going to go with the JBL 9.1 which is only a $100 more & it does sound but I don't like charging speakers. Are the speakers wireless or do they have wires behind them? Do they need to be charged? Is this Dolby Atmos? What is the total watts?

- Answer Rear speakers are bluetooth but they have power cords. (No charging) was the same reason i didnt buy the JBLs. This Polk model is a good sounding system.

- Answer Hello, Sound bars are designed as standalone systems that will not work with a receiver. If you are looking for speakers to work with your sound system and can be wired, then we would recommend that you look at our passive speaker series for options that can be wired into your sound system.

- Answer Hello. This specification is not listed because wattage ratings can only offer a meaningful guide when matching an amplifier to speakers. As the speakers and the amplifier for this package have already been chosen as a good pairing from a power point of view, it means the amplifier power is already sufficient to allow for the desired performance of the speakers within.

QuestionI am happy with the sound, but why do I have to turn it up over 30 to 35 to get any sound out of it? I had an Visio surround sound soundbar, only had to turn it up to 16 or so to get sufficient sound out of it.

- Answer Hello. The good news is the volume number indicated with the Magni Fi Max AX SR is there to show if the level is going up or down. The number is not a percentage of the overall output.

- Answer I’ve looked everywhere to find the watts for this system and can’t find it. However, we use it in our bedroom and it is roughly a 16’x16’ room. The sound literally fills the entire room on a low volume. So I’m sure that even in a larger room it would be more than adequate! Great system!!
