QuestionI have a Polk Audio Max SR sound bar system. It was working fine until the other day when it went off line. I reset the system by pressing the button on the back. Now the subwoofer and surround speakers do not work. Please advise.

QuestionThe total watts is only 400? The Nakamichi Shockwafe 7.1.4Ch 850W Soundbar is only $100 more & has a total of watts of 850. The JBL 9.1 is not an option for me cause I don't like the charging speakers

- Answer Hello, the provided SR2 wireless surround speakers are wireless and come with their own power supplies that require an outlet. Power or watts can be miss leading as each MagniFi Max AX soundbar driver is provided its own amplifier. The individual amplifiers are equipped with the proper amount of power for each driver. If possible, it may be best to demo each soundbar before purchasing. The MagniFi Max AX SR soundbar is 7.1.2.

QuestionI was going for the JBL 9.1 but I don't like the idea of charging speakers so I know the JBL & Samsung 9.1 will sound louder than this 7.1 Polk. Are these speakers wireless? Do they have to be charged? What are the total watts. How many speakers? 11?

- Answer Wireless, yes are this speakers rechargeable no, you have to plug them in to an outlet, total watts to be honest I haven’t check but the sound out of this set in my opinion is really good and you get 4 speakers altogether 2 wireless surround speakers 1 sound bar and a wireless so subwoofer

QuestionHow do you turn up the subwoofer volume?

- Answer I Don’t think you can turn up the subwoofer volume individually I just use the remote to turn up or down the volume, and everything works together what you can do however is adjust the bass, treble and surround all this with the remote. Also with the remote if you press the sound button you go through some settings like movie, music, auto night and a few others.

QuestionJust wondering why HDMI connection won't work or connect to our TV Samsung 8 series. I have to use the Digital Audio Output to connect to the sounbar. Anyone from Geek Squad or Polk to help me out? The sound is still good though.Thanks!

- Answer You will need to go into sound settings on your TV and make sure HDMI arc or e-arc is on. With Samsung tv's it's sometimes labeled as hdmi-cec in the settings and then verify that you are plugged into the HDMI that's labeled arc or e-arc usually it's HDMI input two but on some newer TV's with HDMI 2.1 it's input three

- Answer Hello, Since this is a powered soundbar system and are not passive speakers, we do not measure the wattage RMS. There are third party sources that have taken the measurements of the system and can be found online if you are interested in finding this information.
