“Just wondering why HDMI connection won't work or connect to our TV Samsung 8 series. I have to use the Digital Audio Output to connect to the sounbar. Anyone from Geek Squad or Polk to help me out? The sound is still good though.Thanks!”

You will need to go into sound settings on your TV and make sure HDMI arc or e-arc is on. With Samsung tv's it's sometimes labeled as hdmi-cec in the settings and then verify that you are plugged into the HDMI that's labeled arc or e-arc usually it's HDMI input two but on some newer TV's with HDMI 2.1 it's input three
