Speakers can be linked using the polk audio app or Play-Fi app if each speaker allows for that connection. Sonos and polk use this type of technology in their current speakers

Please try again later.Bob, I would personally go with a wired outdoor speaker such as Definitive Technology Outdoor speakers and wire them to a Sonos Amp as well. depending on your resistance of your existing speakers you could simply purchase a much less expensive speaker selector and connect the speakers to the speaker selector and you wouldn't have to purchase another connect amp. Depending on the quality of sound you prefer of course would play into what speakers and how much money you would be willing to spend. Enjoy!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently Sonos does not offer a wireless speaker that is designed to be used outdoors, as far as durability and moisture are concerned. Many people are using connect amps in, association with traditionally wired outdoor speakers however. Some of the best I have heard are from definitive technologies.
