A:AnswerHi, Tony,
I hope your figured your answer out by now, but in case anyone else is wondering about the same question, I thought I'd post something. Unfortunately your pic doesn't show the label of the output, so it's hard to be specific. If the output is labeled "SubWoofer Out" or similar, it should work. You wouldn't connect a subwoofer to an input. The manual can be found at Polk Audio's website: http://global.polkaudio.com/en/Media/POLK/Product%20Manuals/PSW10_12_MN.pdf
The manual covers both the 10 and 12 inch models, so be careful to only follow the guides for the PSW10.
If your TV has a "Subwoofer Out", the instructions state:
"OPTION #1—
Receivers that include a “Sub Out” feature—the most common hookup method with
Dolby® Digital receivers.
PSW10—
NOTE: The PSW10 subwoofer does not have an LFE input. Instead, use either the
L or R Line input (another hookup option is to use a Y-split cable and connect both
L and R Line inputs). After you make this Sub Out connection, turn the "Low Pass"
filter fully clockwise. This will in effect create an LFE input"
What this means is run an audio cable from the Sub Out to either the R or L in on the speaker. It doesn't really matter since low frequency sounds are non-directional, which is why you can place the subwoofer away from the other speakers.
A:AnswerThe Polk subwoofers should go well with any 5.2 system. The Polk subwoofers sound great with my Denon 5.2 system. As it is a 5.2 system I have two of them. My family room is like a movie theater now. I love it.
A:AnswerHello, the subwoofer has a built-in amplifier dedicated to the 10" driver.
- 50 Watt Amplifier: The subwoofer is powered by a high-current amplifier producing 50 watts RMS/100 watts dynamic power.
A:AnswerRCA LFE(subwoofer out from receiver). RCA LFE (in from receiver) If the sub does not power on, a setting within the receiver will need to be changed.
A:AnswerHaving stereo line level input provides an extra level of connection possibilities. You can run a single RCA from soundbar to the L input or purchase a RCA y splitter.
A:AnswerI had the same issue. The PSW10 has speaker level inputs that you can utilize to connect to the "B" channel of a traditional two channel audio receiver that accommodates two sets of speakers. You can do this using standard speaker wire. The variable output control allows you to "tune" in as much extra low bass to customize the sound to supplement the main speakers to your liking.
A:AnswerHello, the Polk Audio PSW10 is a powered subwoofer designed to be connected to an AV receiver. The PSW10 has an auto power-on feature. The subwoofer will automatically power on once a signal is detected. The subwoofers speaker level terminals are not powered.
A:AnswerA Y splitter may be used to connect the RCA cable to the PSW10 LT/RT Line Level input. You may also use either LT or RT alone. A slight increase in volume may be heard when using a Y splitter. I included notes from the service manual.

A:AnswerSub-woofers like the PSW10 like to have a dedicated feed, but most computers have only a single headphone output port. In theory, you could use a splitter. How good the results might be will be trial and error. The required cable would have an RCA pair at one end and a 3.5mm jack at the other end.
A:AnswerI would like to recommend a set of satellite speakers or bookshelf speakers. As these could provide a wider soundstage then a sound bar. Polk audio T15 bookshelf speakers or Polk audio Tl1 satellite speakers. If you are ultimately looking to simplify your system and still want good sound, the Denon DHT-S216 Sound Bar does have a subwoofer pre out.
A:AnswerI have 2 of these excellent budget subs connected via RCA cables. They carry the music signal from my player. I used y cables to split the signal. 1 leg goes to the sub and the other to my amp/receiver. I believe that you can also run the high level speaker wires intended for your left+right speakers through them as well. Manual should cover all that.
A:AnswerIf your Polk soundbar has a single sub output RCA jack then yes, or if you are using an AVR receiver to power your soundbar and the AVR has a single sub output RCA jack then also yes.
