I had the same issue and was ready to return it. Seriously, i had boxed it up and gave up. then I found on line about adjusting the setting on the TV. Yes it really worked perfectly. Go into TV sound settings and change it to PCM or standard Dolby. The soundbar does not recognize dolby Plus or Altomos. It will create a hissing noise as it attempts to decode it, but is unable to. now Netflix and amazon movies works perfectly, and the sound is amazing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your tv should always be set to pcm audio; that was probably the issue of the hissing. Wether I have an added sound system or not; I leave the tv to PCM output; and the same goes for your Blu-ray players with this 2.1 surround set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Could it be that you are using an Auxiliary function; like an added vcr; but which is not; in this case is an App; and you still need to use system remote to switch to auxiliary power. My dads older Samsung 2.1 surround system did that with an added vcr up conversion model with an already connected Blu-ray player. Check the functions of your Polk audio 2.1 surround sound remote for this mentioned auxiliary power; and see if situation is fixed?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t have Netflix or amazon on my tv right now. Haven’t had any problems with sound bar.
