• What kind of TV do you have? I had trouble with my sound bar and found out it was actually my new Samsung TV that quit communicating with the sound bar. Try unplugging your TV for a few minutes, plug back in and try. If this solves the problem, it's your TV. If not, then maybe you do have a faulty sound bar.

• The lights flashing mean the sound bar is muted.

• Could be you hit the TV button on the remote and have no tv sound to turn on. Hitting the second button to the right on top of the bar (arrow right) works for me.

• Try going to your TV settings and selecting the right input: HDMI or audio/optical, depending on how you connected the sound bar.
