Can I use my Direct TV remote to adjust the volume on this soundbar? null

hi, i have been able to use my tv remote with the polk. i hooked it up via the ARC setting on my tv, with just the hdmi cable. so yes, you can use it, but i don't know how exactly to make it work. other answers here may help you. good luck. 

one annoying thing for me is that the volume skips number using both the polk remote and my vizio remote. when i turn up the volume it goes from 22 to 25. every so often it works normally. still trying to work this out.

When reading the one answer I saw, the person did NOT answer the question as to the Direct TV remote. He/she said their TV (Visio) remote could work....

Not that I have been able to figure out. The on/off will work but you need to use the sound bar remote for volume. Don't forget to turn down your TV volume to zero or you get a really annoying echo as they will be slightly out of sync
