I'm assuming you don't have any way to see the S2 as available to your turntable, but it still should work. But, just as with any other Bluetooth connection, the reason the connection can't be made is that one or both devices is connected to another device - another phone, your car, your neighbor's car, etc. So many things have Bluetooth capabilities now. Usually you can see what other devices could be interfering with your phone or Smart TV. Can you hardwire (optical, HDMI, USB) from the turntable?
