“I bought this for my son for x-mas. was wondering if this will hook up to his Samsung tv using only the optical cable? he only has 2 hmis on his tv an they are both being used. thank you in advance”

• Yes, it does on my Samsung but the optical cable was difficult to insert into the TV output .

• I tried that but it does not do the job well and the hHDMI cable became necessary for me to work it properly .
