QuestionBought the polk Signa-2 and every time we turn off the tv it turns off. We turn tv back on & Signa-2 is no longer in the sound choices. We have to enter menu, General & external settings to help the tv find it. Big pain.

- Answer We started to have this problem too. We just got a new tv with the ARC HDMI so that we didn’t need to run it with the optical cable. It happened this morning for the 2x. I unplugged just the tv this time and turned everything back on and it works again. Last time I unplugged the tv and sound bar. Not sure why it’s happening but maybe one of the mfgs did an update.

QuestionI have just purchased a 65 Samsung TV and also a Polk sound bar. I also have a U Verse cable box. When the sound bar is hooked up thru the optical sound the TV automatically goes to the HDMI 2 port and says no connection. Any idea why it does this?

- Answer I do not think you would, this soundboard comes equipped with HDMI slots as well as a few other ports.

- Answer Should plug into a power strip not the outlet. You might of had a power surge and blown it.

QuestionI want to hook this up to a Samsung NU7000. It doesn't have an HDMI ARC input. Will it still sound good and be worth the price just using the optical source? I don't expect great sound, just an improvement from what I have.

- Answer No rear speaker connections available thru the sound bar. As far as I can tell you need a second amplified signal coming from the TV.

QuestionI purchased this sound bar and subwoofer for my husband for Christmas in December 2019. A few weeks ago, it starting sounding muffled. We reinstalled it and now it will not work at all. We have tried everything. It is connected to a Samsung TV.

- Answer yes if your tv has an arc hdmi port use an hdmi cable plus run the optic cable that comes with the sound bar you will get great sound quality....also if you dont have an arc hdmi port you can still use any hdmi port with the optic cable
