Hello. If you TV does not have an ARC HDMI port, you can connect the Signa S4 to your TV using either an optical or an analog cable. If you choose to use an optical cable, you will want to make sure your TV's digital audio output is set to PCM in your TV's audio menu. If your TV has an ARC HDMI port, that is the recommended means to connecting the Signa S4 to your TV for optimum results.
