Hello. The rule of thumb is bigger rooms need bigger speakers. Soundbars are designed to save space in smaller rooms by replacing the AVR and their connected multiple speakers. For a large theater room, it is recommended to use an AVR with larger speakers, rather than using a Soundbar. Bass levels are adjustable to where the Signa S4 3.1.2 will work well in a smaller room.
