• I can say it's more than sufficient for the room I have them in. I use them in a 15 x 18 room. As long as it's paired with a decent amp, your needs should be met. My son does get overflow to other rooms even at midrange settings. Actually my second set of polks. Good stuff. First set was stolen.

• Root-mean-square= RMS. Basically is the DC equivalent. Think if it as the Average Sustainable power rating. Much more important than peak. Use RMS to compare not Peak.
