Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This all depends on the connections on the back of the sony. If there are ports that can accept speaker wire, then you need to get some speakers (such as these) and speaker wire, and then it is as simple as just connnecting. If you only have 2 speaker ports (a.k.a. channels), you only need two speakers connected with speaker wire. If you have a connection on the rear that says "subwoofer", you can attach a subwoofer either with an LFE cable or with speaker wire, depending on the sub and the receiver inputs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your unit has an amp in it, they should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it is an all in one receiver/cd player and radio it should just need speakers, and yes these would work with your device but it may be under powered for these speakers (you won't get full potential from speakers). But they should work and are a nice size for something like that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes....adding speakers will DEFINITELY help you in this situation. Most importantly is how far do you want to get into home audio?? As there is hundreds of directions to go! These Polk T15's are GREAT but I only have them as surrounds and 3-way floor standing speakers up front (dual 12" sub for bass). So it's up to you....just looking for good quality sound with minimum bass....go for it....but want that bass punch you will have to go with an additional sub! Hope this helps
