If your subwoofer has "speaker level" inputs (most do) then yes you can. Essentially it would go: receiver-->subwoofer-->speakers. Then you would adjust the crossover and volume knobs on the subwoofer to blend the sound with your main speakers to your liking. Don't mix different speaker wire, run the same brand and thickness from the receiver to the subwoofer to the speakers.
