Amy17: To play the the record player, you will need an amplifier or “Receiver”. The receiver will allow you to play the record player with the speakers. Make sure it has record player inputs, check with store technician. The receiver will be able to accept CD inputs. There are multiple types of CD inputs, again check with store technician to ensure the receiver has your type of CD inputs. The Speakers will work well as bookshelf speakers for the units. best wishes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Audio Technica LP60 only have a preamp output, so you need either an amplifier or powered speakers. These speakers are not powered, so you would need an amplifier. You would need stereo RCA cables to hook the LP60 to the amplifier, and and speaker wire to hook the amplifier up to the speakers.
