• You'll need to connect your TV or CD/DVD player to an amp or receiver that has speaker jacks.

• I have them hooked up through a receiver. I don't think without RCA jacks or HDMI you can hook them up directly. They do put out some great sound for bookshelf speakers, you might be disappointed about the mid range output. I put a center channel on to help out.
