• Speaker wire is not included. You will need your own 16-gauge or better wire. As far as the spring clip connectors, these speakers require bare wires for a connection. If you can cut the connectors off and strip the wires they should work.

• As long as your speaker wires are bare, you'll insert them into the speaker and tighten the plastic nut

• Yes, you can hook them up to an old receiver or stereo, but you will have to purchase the hookup wire.
