No, these are not powered and don't have a crossover.

I would connect the speakers to a stereo receiver and then connect the turntable to the receiver. I use an Insignia Stereo Receiver NS-STR514 for my system - This receiver and others can be purchased at Best Buy. Note: You will need to purchase speaker wire to connect speakers to the stereo receiver. The Insignia receiver provides the steps required to connect the required components.
