• Absolutely. I used to have Sherwood S-9200CP (circa 1983) and if it hadn't died, I'd still be using it. I think your model has less power, but even though the 80s models were being made in Korea (instead of the US throughout the 70s), the design was good and their amps had a lot of dynamic headroom, so they could push higher than their rated wattage. I think you'll be very happy with these speakers (particularly if you get them on sale) because they are pretty efficient (89 db) and they sound great for no bigger than they are.
