“I have an older tv with audio in and out holes. I was wondering if these speakers would be workable if I have the audio in and out cables?”

• the audio out connection is to a stereo connection then hook the speakers to the stereo.

• They are passive speakers. They have to be hooked up to a receiver or amplifier. They will not work with an audio out cable.

• No they will not. These are connected to a receiver to get sound via speaker wire directly from the back of the speakers to the back of a AV receiver.
