• Hello, For existing finished walls, there is a cutout template included that helps you cut the hole into the wall to which you can then place the speaker and the Dog Ears can then screw into place and hold the speaker up in the wall. If this is a new home that the walls are still exposed and not finished, you can purchase a separate pre-construction bracket that can be installed prior to finishing the walls.
