• A:Answer Probably not. They won't fit between the studs. New construction has studs spaced at 16" (and you lose another 1.25" for the width of the stud) and these speakers require a hole over 19" for the long side. Some older construction has studs spaced farther apart, so to be sure you would have to check your particular location with a stud-finder.

Q: QuestionDo these speakers come with the in wall mounting bracket?

• A:Answer Hello, For existing finished walls, there is a cutout template included that helps you cut the hole into the wall to which you can then place the speaker and the Dog Ears can then screw into place and hold the speaker up in the wall. If this is a new home that the walls are still exposed and not finished, you can purchase a separate pre-construction bracket that can be installed prior to finishing the walls.
