Not a bad solution at a fair price.
I got these on clearance for a great price. I own a set of the smaller Yamahas and I recommend the larger ones over those. You need LOTS of bass in an outdoor venue, so choose large! The sound is decent and they look well built to survive outdoors. I have them attached to a low-mid tier amp, but outdoor speakers benefit from being driven with more power than you would use indoors. This helps the quality of the sound. I painted them with before I hung them and they look nice. The brackets were easy to fasten and to hang the speaker, even when working on a ladder.

Great sound, terrific value!
I bought a pair of these 350's to augment a pair of 390's, but I'm getting another pair, these are outdoors, in humid corpus Christi, TX and sound fabulous, I've got a pool and large, 3/4 acre backyard and these speakers rock the house, as a professional drummer and sound engineer of 50 years experience, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Good deal on a great sounding set of speakers
What excellent sound not to mention the excellent price for these speakers. I'm using them on an outdoor screened in porch accented by a subwoofer. I put them on some mounts I bought a million years ago. Modified of course.
