“How do I detach the GPS Drive 50LM from the mount's ball? I know there must be a release somewhere but I can't figure it out. Thanks.”

• Actually I discovered that the "socket" on the GPS device into which the ball inserts is releasable and that detatches the stand and device without trying to jerk out the ball.

• It pops on and off the ball. Very minimal effort to pull it out

• You need to pull it gently from the ball. Hold on to everything as you do it to not drop or jerk too hard and let go of the gps.
